The Fresh Start Programme has been funding a large number of integrated schools across Northern Ireland to get BREEAM excellence certification. The completion of these projects will see an additional 3000 pupils being educated together in shared campus schools and enable increases in enrolment at integrated schools of over 1400 pupils.
RHI Water Ltd has been working with many of the design teams to help them achieve BREEAM excellence certification. We have been selected to work on these projects by the leading consulting engineers as a result of the vast experience we possess in this sector and our track record in delivering the best rainwater harvesting systems to meet each sites requirement. The HYDRAPRO systems enabled the site to eliminate unnecessary use of high-quality mains water supplies. For the BREEAM Excellent buildings this target is 75% of the WC flush in the school. A very significant target given WC flushing is the main use of water within a school’s daily water usage.
On this particular programme RHI Water Ltd are currently providing systems for include Roe Valley IPS, Limavady; Mill Strand IPS, Portrush; Shimna College, Newcastle; New-Bridge Integrated College, Loughbrickland and Strangford College, Strangford with more in the pipeline.
